gardenKitchener, or more formally the Kitchener Horticultural Society (KHS), was established in 1872 and is now 149 years old! Since 1928, the Society has had the privilege of managing Rockway Gardens for the City of Kitchener.

Thanks to the Library, the Master Gardeners and the whole team at Kitchener Horticultural Society for another wonderful Seedy Saturday.  Covid has been challenging for everyone but the KHS is pleased to say that today’s Seedy Saturday, our first “in-person” event in the past two years was a resounding success.  We estimate that over 350 people joined us at the Library to visit vendors sand to attend the five educational seminars.   KHS is so happy to also announce that our workshops, seminars and garden tours are a go for the rest of the summer.   Remember to renew your membership so that you can join us at these great events.
