Chris Inch, a backyard beekeeper will present the benefits of keeping bees, starting your own colony, monitoring it and enjoy the results
Tom Epplett of "Kingsburgh Apiaries - Bee Quest Honey" will share his journey from hobbyist to apiary. What is happening to our honey bees due to the exposure to powerful neeur-toxins? Why are so many bees dying? What can we do to help?
About Chris Inch
Chris Inch is a software developer by day, and is an experienced beekeeper in his spare time. Chris maintains the web site Beekeeping in Ontario and is part of several local beekeeping associations. Using both Langstroth and Top Bar hives, Chris is a hobbyist beekeeper, motivated by doing what's best for the bees rather than focusing on profiting at the bees' expense.
