Jane’s Walks are free, locally organized walking tours, in which people get together to explore, talk about and celebrate their neighbourhoods. Where more traditional tours are a bit like walking lectures, a Jane’s Walk is more of a walking conversation. Leaders share their knowledge, but also encourage discussion and participation among the walkers.

The tour will be conducted by two "master gardeners," Bruce MacNeil and Maryanne Weiler, who can name every tree and every plant in the 7 acres of gardens and who are also very willing to answer your questions about Rockway Gardens and its history. The gardens have been the "go to" place for wedding pictures for over 80 years. Everyone knows someone who had their picture taken there - bring them along and share them with your fellow walkers. The walk is an easy one to navigate and there are plenty of places to sit and relax along the route. The walk will be about one hour in length.

Come out for the tour and you will learn five things you never knew about Rockway Gardens!

The tour will start at the Garden House.
