Come learn about the history of one of the jewels of Kitchener, Rockway Gardens. Since it was established in 1928 it has continued to evolve into its present day glory. Our two speakers will share their wealth of knowledge about horticulture and Rockway Gardens.

Bruce MacNeil is a librarian by profession. He has been a Master Gardener for 20 years and is a board member of the Kitchener Horticultural Society (gardenKitchener). His passion for horticulture and photography will be evident as he talks about the history of Rockway Gardens.

Maryanne Weiler is a Master Gardener, a former teacher and has a diploma of Horticulture form the University of Guelph. As a former Supervisor of Rockway Gardens she will add personal insights about its history.
