Gardening, art and spiritual discovery -- how do these intersect?

Seminar-2017-03.pngFor the past 25 years, Michael ManChoi and his wife Bonnie have created an urban woodland environment at their home in the Heritage District in downtown Kitchener. Their home was featured in KHS Garden Tour in August 2016. Since retirement ManChoi has pursued his avocation in fine art photography inspired by landscapes at home and beyond. He claims to discover the transcendent and spiritual healing in his own mystical landscapes and art photography. He credits the talent of his grandfather and passion of his father for photography, and remaining open-minded, he has enjoyed his eclectic meanderings in the world of photography and printmaking: through landscapes, nature, portraiture, still life or life events. He considers his emerging artistic avocation a progressive culmination of his profession as an educator, pastor, psychotherapist and spiritual healer. Discovering creative connections between art, photography, landscaping and spiritual healing is "re-creational" and great fun for ManChoi.
