GardenKitchener, also known as the Kitchener Horticultural Society (KHS), is a not-for-profit charitable organization promoting horticultural and environmental issues, and fostering community in Waterloo Region.

Our community of members are gardening and plant enthusiasts from all walks of life, and with all levels of experience. We connect, learn, and share together at various local events – in person, and online – all year round.

gardenKitchener seminars offer tips and techniques on a wide range of subject matter. Events like Seedy Saturday and our annual Bulb Sale inspire members to practice new skills and create spectacular gardens wherever they like – indoors, in yards, and on balconies. Workshops provide an opportunity to get creative and explore new materials: construct a planter, design a festive urn, build a vertical garden, and more.

We are privileged to be overseeing Kitchener’s Rockway Gardens. Its stunning grounds provide us with the perfect backdrop for summer concerts, teaching tours and opportunities for volunteers to engage their green thumbs. Learn more about Rockway Gardens here.
