Join us for the 2024 Rockway Gardens Plant & Bulb Sale, presented by GardenKitchener!
GardenKitchener members receive early-bird access to this unique sale, featuring the stunning bulbs from Rockway Garden’s spring 2024 garden displays, as well as a variety of plants and perennials! Learn more about the history and format of the sale, here.
This is a first-come, first-served event!
- Members will be invited to take a numbered ticket to secure their position in line, starting at 7:30 a.m.
- Entry to the sale will happen in staggered batches, starting at 9:00 a.m.
- Non-members will be invited to collect a numbered ticket starting at 10:30 a.m.
Bulb & Pricing Details:
- See the list of available bulbs here. Note that quantities of each bulb are limited and will vary depending on where in Rockway Gardens they’re planted, and how many survive the season.
- Bulbs will be $5 / bag for 2024 GardenKitchener Members (proof of membership will be required) and $6 / bag for Non-members.
- Quantities of bulbs per bag vary:
- Premium Tulip Varieties – 6 bulbs per bag,
- Basic Tulips – 12 bulbs per bag,
- Narcissus – 10 bulbs per bag,
- Hyacinth, Species Tulips, and Specialty Bulbs – 8 bulbs per bag.
- Plants will vary in price depending on size and variety. 2024 GardenKitchener Members can expect to pay $3-$10 per plant, Non-members can expect to pay $4-$12 per plant.
Purchase Limits
To help ensure as many people as possible have the opportunity to take home their favourite bulbs, GardenKitchener Members will be allowed to purchase a maximum of 15 bags of bulbs per membership. Within that, no more than 3 bags of the same bulb type may be purchased. Additional limits may be put in place on the day-of, for individual varieties, at the organizer’s discretion.
These limits will be removed once the sale is opened up to the public at 10:30 a.m. Members are invited to return to the sale a second time, after 10:30 a.m. if they wish to purchase additional bulbs.
