“Garden Bathing” is the practice of immersing oneself in the sights, sounds, and sensations of a garden to promote relaxation, mindfulness, and a deeper connection with nature. It’s a great way to relieve stress and improve your mood!
This session will be a gentle and mindful stroll through Rockway Gardens, exploring the change in seasons. Our walk will include some moments of pause to enjoy our surroundings and to practice techniques that will help you release stress and rejuvenate. Come out and absorb all the benefits the great outdoors has to offer!
This event will run rain or shine, but will be cancelled or re-scheduled if severe weather is expected. Please dress for the weather. No pets please.
Meet by the Garden House at 7 Floral Crescent a few minutes prior to 10 am. The instructor will provide participants with a sign-in sheet and waiver form to complete at the start of the program.
Note: Arrive 30 minutes early if you’d also like to participate in GardenKitchener’s annual plant swap, happening at the same location. Swap your plants before the walk begins!
